Runway Extension       - The Mt Beauty Gliding Club welcomes moves by the Alpine Shire Council to extend the runway to allow more effective emergency services operations in the Upper Kiewa valley.   Firefighting water bombers and air ambulance services would particularly benefit from extension of the runway.  A recent Border Mail article on this is here (2mb jpg file).

Sunday 6th May - DA, BA, RL, BT, SA, CC, IC, BH, SB, RT and MBd crewed to fly the ASW-20, LS-3, Pilatus and IS-28B2.  Light to moderate NW winds gave marginal ridge lift and some weak thermals.  Max alt 3,700 ft.  Cloudbase was 2,000 ft early rising to 4,000 later.  Sixteen flights for 5:08.  OLC points 87.  RL soloed and BA and BH converted to the Pilatus.

Saturday 5th May - BA, KF, LS, SB, BT, ID, SA, DR and MBd crewed to fly the Astir, LS-3, Pilatus, Libelle and IS-28B2.  Light to moderate NW winds gave marginal ridge lift, possibly weak wave and thermals.   Twenty two flights for 4:46.  LS and KF converted to the Astir.

Sunday 29th April - DA, KF, LS, BOd, MBn, CC, RL and AE crewed to fly the ASW-20, LS-3, Pilatus, ASW-19 and IS-28B2.  Light to moderate NW winds gave marginal ridge lift, possibly weak wave and thermals.  Max alt 6,700 ft.  Eleven flights for 10:54.  OLC points 172.

Saturday 28th April - DA, KD, LS, TK, MBn, MBd and DR crewed to fly the Pilatus, IS-28B2, ASK-21mi and Astir.  Light to moderate NW winds gave marginal ridge lift, possibly weak wave and there were weak thermals.  Max alt 4,700 ft.  Thirteen flights for 7:40.  OLC points 169.

Friday 27th April - IC, KD, TK, MBd and AE crewed to fly the Pilatus, IS-28B2 and ASW-19.   Light to moderate NW winds gave marginal ridge lift and there were extremely weak thermals. Max altitude 3,500 ft. Eight flights for 4:13.  OLC points 45.

Wednesday 25th April - MBd, BT, RL and AE crewed to fly the Pilatus, ASK-21mi and IS-28.   Light NW winds at surface tending southerly higher. Eight flights for 2:17.  

Sunday 22nd April - BOd, MBd, RL, BT, KF, TK, RT, AE and IC crewed to fly the ASW-19 and IS-28.   Moderate NW winds fading later.  There were no thermals and weak ridge lift.  There was total overcast cloud cover. Twelve flights for 1:42.  

Saturday 21st April - BT, LS, SB, KF, RL, KD and MBd crewed to fly the Astir, IS-28, Pilatus and ASK-21mi   Light and variable winds.  There were weak thermals lift.  Max altitude 6,800 ft.  There was one octa cumulus. Eleven flights for 6:17.  OLC points 147.

Tuesday 17th April - IC crewed to fly the ASK-21mi   Moderate SE winds.  There were weak thermals, weak wave and weak ridge lift.  Max altitude 7,500 ft.  There was one octa cumulus and some smoke from burning-off operations. One flight for 3:05.  OLC points 127.

Sunday 15th April - MBd, BJ, IC, GV, TK, TE, KF, KD, BOd, HM, MBn, SB and BT crewed to fly the Cessna 180, IS-28, Pilatus, Libelle, Club Libelle, Astir and LS-3.   Light NW winds.  There were weak to moderate thermals.  Max altitude 6,500 ft.  There was one octa cumulus and some smoke from burning-off operations. Twenty flights for 13:38.   OLC points 532.

 
Saturday 14th April - MBd, IC, KF, KD and BT crewed to fly the ASW-19, Pilatus, Astir and ASK-21mi.   Moderate NW winds fading later.  There were weak thermals, weak ridge lift and possibly very weak low level wave lift.  Max altitude 3,500 ft.  There was heavy high level overcast and smoke from burning off operations. Eight flights for 8:06.  OLC points 131.
 
Thursday 12th April - MBd, IC, KF, AP and BT crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, and ASK-21mi.   Light and variable winds  Weak thermals and clear skies.  Nine flights for 2:26.

Monday 9th April
- BA, MBd, SA, IC, LS, KF, BOd, KV, BT, AS, SK and TK crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, and Twin Astir.   Northwesterly winds eventually turning westerly to southwesterly.. Ridge lift and moderate thermals with four octas cumulus cloud with base around 5,500 ft.  Nine flights for 3:33. Max altitude 5.600 ft.  OLC points 178.  Late in the day, visitor Scott Lennon climbed to 8,600 ft. in wave near Mongans Bridge.

Sunday 8th April
- BA, MBd, SA, IC, LS, KF, HM, GL, BT, BOd, ML, IDy, BJ, CC, BJ, GM and TG crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, LS-3, Twin Astir, Astir and ASK-21.   Northerly breezes.  Weak ridge lift and weak and patchy thermals with two octas cumulus cloud with base around 5,500 ft.  Twenty one flights for 16:38. Max altitude 5.000 ft.

Saturday 7th April
- BA, SL, SA, IC, RH, LS, KF, HM, GL, BT, BOd, ML, IDy, BJ, CC, GM and TG crewed to fly the Libelle, IS-28, ASW-20, ASW-24, Pilatus, LS-3, Twin Astir, Astir and ASK-21.   Northerly breezes. Weak ridge lift and weak and patchy thermals with one octas cumulus cloud with base around 5,500 ft.  Thirty-two flights for 17:28.  Max altitude 5.000 ft.  

Friday 6th April
- BA, MBd, SA, IC, LS, KF, HM, GL, BT, BOd, ML, IDy, BJ, CC, GM and TG crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, LS-3, Twin Astir, Astir and ASK-21.   Northerly breezes. Weak ridge lift and weak and patchy thermals with two octas cumulus cloud with base around 5,500 ft.  Twenty three flights for 16:38. Max altitude 5.000 ft.  OLC points 75.

Thursday 5th April
- LS, SA, GM, MBd, and IC crewed to fly the IS-28, LS-3 and ASK-21mi.   Light and variable winds.  Weak and patchy 2 - 3 kt thermals.  Seven flights for 2:26. Max altitude 4.000 ft.

Wednesday 4th April - MBd, and IC crewed to fly the Libelle.   Northerly breezes.  Weak and patchy 2 - 3 kt thermals with one octa cumulus cloud with base around 7,000 ft.  One flight for 2:30. Max altitude 6.700 ft.  OLC points 193.

Sunday 1st April - DA, BOd, MBd, CC, KF, BT, KD, and OB  crewed to fly the Astir, IS-28, ASK-21mi and Pilatus.  Light breezes. Weak and patchy thermals to around 7,000 ft.  Twenty flights for 8:50. Max altitude 6.700 ft.  OLC points 241.

Thursday 29th March - MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.   Light northerly breezes. Weak thermals with one octas cumulus cloud.  One flight for 0:33.

Monday 26th March - KD, IC, DR and AS crewed to fly the Ventus, Astir and ASW-19.   Light northerly breezes. Weak thermals with two octas cumulus cloud with variable base from 5,500 ft to around 7,000 ft.  Three flights for 7:23. Max altitude 6.700 ft.  OLC points 467.

Sunday 25th March - HM, ID, MBn, KD, IC, DR, BT, LS, KF, BOd and AS crewed to fly the Ventus, Astir, IS-28, Pilatus, LS-3 and ASW-19.   Light northerly breezes. Weak and patchy thermals with two octas cumulus cloud with variable base from 5,500 ft to around 6,500 ft.  Three flights for 7:23. Max altitude 6.300 ft.  OLC points 124.

Saturday 24th March - TK, IC, and AS crewed.  No flying due low cloudbase and intermittent rain.   Maintenance work on ASW-19..

Sunday 18th March - TK, KD, IC, DA, SB, KF, MP, HM, MBn and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, Astir and ASK-21mi.   Light northerly breezes. Weak and patchy thermals with one octa cumulus cloud base around 7,000 ft.  Twenty-one flights for 5:44.  Max altitude 6.000 ft.

Saturday 17th March - AS, KF, KD, FF, MBd and IC crewed to fly the IS-28 and ASK-21mi.   Light and variable breezes tending northerly. Weak and patchy thermals with one octa cumulus cloud base around 6,500 ft.  Eight flights for 2:34.  Max altitude 4.600 ft.  OLC points 51.  KF soloed.

Thursday 15th March - IC crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.   Moderate 15 kt northerly winds at height. Weak and patchy wave conditions with seven octas stratus and cumulus cloud base around 6,000 ft.  One flight for 2:15. Max altitude 7.500 ft.  OLC points 80. Old Mates Week group visited from Benalla.

Sunday 11th March - AE, KD, BOd, AS, SB, RL, LS, SA, BA, SG, MBd, HM, MBn, TK, BT, CC, and MP crewed to fly the Astir, ASK-21mi, Ventus, LS-3, LS-6, Pilatus and IS-28B2.    Two octas cumulus cloud with variable base around 6,500 to 7,500 ft.  Twenty nine flights for 23:40.  OLC points 822. 

Saturday 10th March - DA, SB, RL, RH, LC, LS, BOd, SG, MBd, HM, MBn, IDy, TK, BT, CC, and IC crewed to fly the DG-400, Astir, ASK-21mi, Ventus, LS-3, Pilatus and IS-28B2.    Two octas cumulus cloud with variable base around 6,500 to 7,900 ft.  Sixteen flights for 18:23. OLC points 729. 

Thursday 8th March - IC crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  Moderate SSE  winds produced the Mt Beauty wave. Patchy wave with up to 5m/s lift was encountered tapering off with altitude.  Very rough below 8,000 ft.  Seven octas stratus cloud with base around 6,500 ft.  Max GPS altitude 14,581 ft.  One flight for 2:11. Sunday 26th February - BT, ID, BA, TK, AS and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28B2.  Light north westerly winds with occasional rain.  Eight octas stratus with variable bases from 2,500 ft.  No Lift. Nine flights for 0:38.

Saturday 25th February - BH, BT, MP, ID, AS, PD, MBn, AE and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28B2, Pilatus, LS3, Ventus and Libelle.  Light west to north westerly winds.  Lift average about 1.5m/s peaking at about 2.5m/s. Ten flights for 11:03.  OLC points 385.

Wednesday 15th February - OB, IC, SG, KD and MBd crewed to fly the Libelle and IS-28B2.  Moderate north westerly winds.  Three octas cumulus with variable bases from 7,000 to 8,000 ft, overdevelopment and thunderstorms later. Lift average about 2.0m/s peaking at about 4.0m/s. Five flights for 6:16.  OLC points 499.

Monday 13th February -   IC and MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  Light easterly to north easterly winds.  Three octas cumulus with variable bases from 6,500 to 7,400 ft, overdevelopment and thunderstorms later. Sunday 22nd January - HM, CC, MBn, AE, MP, and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus, ASW-20, LS-6 and ASK-21mi.  Several flights.  MBn and CC flew out to Mt Kosciusko.  OLC points 286.

Saturday 21st January - BT, GV, and MBd crewed to fly the Astir and Libelle.  Two flights.  Flight time was 10:16.  OLC points 764.

Friday 20th January - KF, IC, BT, GV, AE and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28.  Several flights. 

Tuesday 10th January - GV, IC and MBd crewed to fly the ASW-19 and ASK21mi.  Winds were moderate north westerlies at all levels at around 15kt giving weak ridge lift. Four octas cloud gave weak to moderate thermal lift to around 8,000 ft.  Two flights for 5:39.  OLC points 469.

Saturday 7th January - RH, SC, IC, MP and BT crewed to fly the IS-28 and Pilatus.  Winds were light north westerlies at around 5kt.  Extensive patchy overcast limited thermal activity.  Max altitude 6,100 ft.  Nine flights for 4:15.  OLC points 111.

Friday 6th January - SC, IC, MBd, LS and BT crewed to fly the IS-28 and ASW-19.  Winds were light northerlies at around 5kt turning westerly above 7,000 ft.  One octa cumulus with a variable cloudbase up to 10,500 ft..  Max altitude10,000 ft.  Nine flights for 5:55.  OLC points 411.

Wednesday 3rd January - MBd crewed to fly the ASK21mi.  One flight for 0:30. 

Tuesday 2nd January - POb and MBd crewed to fly the Libelle.  Winds were moderate north westerlies at all levels.  Strong lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was above 10,000 ft.  One flight for 5:49.  OLC points 526.

Monday 2nd January - GV, MP, POb, RT and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28 and ASK-21mi.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 9,000 ft.  Four flights for 3:28.  OLC points 173.

Sunday 1st January - PD, SC, IC, GV, GL, ML, FL, KF, AS, BJ, HM, MBn, RT and JH crewed to fly the IS-28, Twin Astir, Ventus, Mistral, Pilatus and Club Libelle.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 8,000 ft.  Seventeen flights for 11:29.  OLC points 208.

Saturday 31st December - SB, MP, IC, GV, BJ, POb, KF, AS, CC, BOd, GL, ML and JH crewed to fly the IS-28, Twin Astir, Mistral, Pilatus, ASW-19, Ventus and Club Libelle.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 8,000 ft.  Sixteen flights for 16:49.  OLC points 931.  The Bendigo Gliding Club PW-6 with pilots FVdH and PR flew in from Bendigo to claim the NSWGA "Come and Get It" trophy.

Friday 30th December - GV, DR, AS, BOd, HM, MBn, GL, SC, ML and IC crewed to fly the IS-28, Twin Astir, Pilatus and, Ventus.  Winds were light and variable tending northerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 10,000 ft.  Eighteen flights for 11:47.  OLC points 573.

Thursday 29th December - IC, GV, BJ, POb, KF, AS, CC, BOd, GL, ML and JH crewed to fly the IS-28, Twin Astir, ASW-20, Pilatus, Ventus and Club Libelle.  Winds were light and variable tending northerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 1 octa cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 10,000 ft.  Eleven flights for 19:07.  OLC points 1059.

Wednesday 28th December - IC, GV, DR, BJ, PD, KF, AS, BOd, JR and SC crewed to fly the IS-28, Twin Astir, Ventus, Club Libelle and ASK-21mi.  Winds were light north westerlies tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in mostly sunny conditions with 2 octas cumulus.  Cloudbase was variable up to 7,000 ft.  Fifteen flights for 10:52.  OLC points 863.

Tuesday 27th December - IC, GV, DR, SB, BOd, JR and SC crewed to fly the IS-28 and ASK-21mi.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in partially sunny conditions with some overdevelopment.  Cloudbase was variable up to 6,500 ft.  Ten flights for 4:10.  OLC points 113.  SB mowed the grass - thanks Steve..

Monday 26th December - IC, GV, JH, KF and AS crewed to fly the IS-28.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in partially sunny conditions with overdevelopment, CuNims and rain showers later.  Cloudbase was up to 5,500 ft.  One flight for 1:15.  OLC points 66. 

Thursday 22nd December - MBd and AB crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  Winds were light and variable tending westerly at height.  Moderate lift was available in sunny conditions with overdevelopment later.  Cloudbase was up to 7,000 ft.  One flight for 2:48.  OLC points 181. 

Wednesday 21st December - IC crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  Winds were light and variable.  Extensive high overcast with occasional sunny breaks led to weak thermals increasing to moderate lift near the cloudbase which varied from 5,500 ft to 7,000 ft.  Two flights for 2:48.  OLC points 149. 

Sunday 18th December - PO, MBd, LS, and KD crewed to fly the IS-28 and Pilatus.  Six flights for 0:57.

Saturday 17th December - SB, AS, LS, and KD crewed to fly the IS-28 and Ventus.  Six flights for 4:38.

Friday 16th December - AS, BOd, KD and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28 and Ventus.  Six flights for 3:36.

Thursday 15th December - ID, BA, AS, SA, KD and MBd crewed to fly the IS-28, Pilatus and ASK-21mi.  Winds were light northwesterlies.  There was cumulus along the ridge lines.  Thermals were weak at lower levels increasing to moderate near cloudbase at around 9,000 ft.  Several flights for 10:50 .  Max altitude 8,500 ft.  OLC points 543. Wednesday 14th December - KD and MBd crewed to fly the ASK-21mi.  Winds were light northwesterlies.  There was extensive cumulus tending to overdevelop over the higher ground.  Thermals were weak at lower levels increasing to moderate near cloudbase at around 8,500 ft.  One flight for 5:11 to Mt Kosciusko.  Max altitude 8,300 ft.  OLC points 452. Sunday 11th December - SB, MBn, PO, LS, KF, AE, MBd and IC crewed to fly the IS-28, ASW-19 and Astir.  Winds were light to moderate northwesterlies.  There were cumulus tending to overdevelop over the higher ground.  Thermals were weak at lower levels increasing to moderate near cloudbase at around 6,500 ft.  Twelve flights for 9:42.  Max altitude 6.500 ft.  OLC points 285.

Friday 9th December - KD, DR, AE, MBd and IC crewed to fly the IS-28, Libelle, ASW-19 and Astir.  Winds were light and variable.  There were cumulus along the ridge lines.  There was a variable cloudbase rising to 8,000 ft. later.  Ten flights for 11:32.  Max altitude 7,500 ft.  OLC points 1121.

Thursday 8th December - SB (at Porepunkah), KD, MBd and IC crewed to fly the Libelle, ASW-19 and DG-400.  Winds were light and variable changing to moderate southerlies later.  There were cumulus overdeveloping to thunderstorms later.  Conditions were booming to the north with 9,500 ft cloudbase.  Three flights for 9:20.  Max altitude 9.500 ft.  OLC points 594.

Monday 5th December - PO, MBd and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21.  Winds were moderate to strong southerlies.  There were cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines.  Broken up wave was encountered. Two flights for 4:16.  Max altitude 7,100 ft.  OLC points 136.

Sunday 4th December - AE, MP, BT, MBd and PO attended.  IC crewed to fly the ASK-21.  Winds were moderate to strong southerlies which prevented winch operations.  There were 2 octas cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines.  Broken up wave was encountered. One flight for 1:43.  Max altitude 5,140 ft.  OLC points 49.

Saturday 3rd December - KD, BA, SA, OB, FF, DR, BH, MBd, LS, BT, and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, ASW-19, Pilatus, Astir and IS-28.  Winds were light northwesterlies.  There were 2 octas cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines.  Moderate thermals were encountered with variable cloudbase up to 7,000 ft. Nineteen flights for 11:12.  Max altitude 6,800 ft.  OLC points 551.

Friday 2nd December - AE, KD, CC, MBd and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, ASW-19 and IS-28.  Winds were light northeasterlies.  There were 2 octas cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines overdeveloping later.  Moderate thermals were encountered with variable cloudbase up to 7,000 ft. Seven flights for 9:25.  Max altitude 6,800 ft.  OLC points 394.

Thursday 1st December - AS and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, and Ventus.  Winds were light northwesterlies at ground level turning to south to southwesterlies at height.  There were 2 octas cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines.  Moderate thermals were encountered with variable cloudbase up to 8,500 ft. 2 flights for 9:16.  Max altitude 8,300 ft.  OLC points 379.

Tuesday 29th November - MBd, AS and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, Ventus, and Libelle.  Winds were light northerlies at ground level strengthening with height.  There was 1 octa cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines and patchy cirrus overcast.  Hard to find weak thermals were encountered and weak wave later interspersed with heavy sink. 3 flights for 8:33.  Max altitude 6,700 ft.  OLC points 276.

Sunday 27th November - MBd, SB, LS, BT, KF, MP, AE, RT, AS and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, ASW-19, Pilatus, IS-28, DG-400 and Astir.  Winds were light northwesterlies backing to westerlies above 5,000 ft. with 1 octa cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines and overcast over higher areas.  Moderate thermals were encountered and weak wave later. 12 flights for 19:00.  Max altitude 6,600 ft.  OLC points 475.

Wednesday 23rd November - KD, MBd, ID, DR and IC crewed to fly the ASK-21, ASW-19 and Astir.  Winds were light south easterlies with 1 octa cumulus cloud mainly along the ridge lines.  Moderate to strong thermals were encountered and weak wave later. Four flights for 12:45.  Max altitude 9,900 ft.  OLC points 581.

Monday 21st November - KD, MBd, OB and IC crewed fly the ASK-21, Libelle and Astir.  Winds were light north westerlies fading to calm with 2 octas cumulus cloud along the ridge lines. Ridge lift and weak thermals were encountered. Three flights for 7:56. Max altitude 6,100 ft.  OLC points 286.

Sunday 20th November - BT, AE, MBd, KD and IC crewed fly the ASK-21, IS-28 and Astir.  After rain in the morning, winds were moderate north westerlies changing to stronger NNW at higher elevations. Ridge lift and moderate thermals were encountered. Six flight for 6:51. Max altitude 7,800 ft.  OLC points 360.

Saturday 19th November - FF, BT and MBd crewed fly the IS-28.  No thermals were encountered. Four flights for 0:24.

Friday 18th November - KD, MP, AE and MP crewed fly the IS-28, ASW-19 and Astir.  Max altitude 5,300 ft. Seven flights for 4:21.  OLC points 90.

Tuesday 15th November - IC crewed fly the ASK-21.  Winds were moderate north westerlies fading to calm with no cloud. Ridge lift and weak thermals were encountered. One flight for 1:59. Max altitude 6,100 ft.  OLC points 146.

Monday 14th November - MBd and MG crewed fly the ASK-21.  Winds were moderate north westerlies with 1 octa cumulus. Ridge lift and weak thermals were encountered. One flight for 2:17. Max altitude 7,300 ft. OLC points 138.

Sunday 13th November - KF, MBd, MBn, HM, MP, BT, AE, IC, ID and AS crewed fly the IS-28, Astir, Pilatus, ASW-19, and Ventus.  Winds were light north westerlies  with  2 octas cumulus early and complete overcast later. Weak ridge lift and weak thermals to 1kt were encountered. Eleven flights for 7:16. Max altitude 4,000 ft.

Saturday 12th November - BA, SA, BT, MBd, MBn, HM, CC, OB, IC and AS crewed fly the IS-28, Pilatus, ASK-21, ASW-19, ASW-20, LS-6 and Ventus. Winds were light north westerlies  with approximately 2 octas cumulus with variable cloudbase from 8,000 ft to 9,000 ft.  Thermals to 10kt were encountered. Twelve flights for 18:40. Max altitude 9,000 ft.  OLC points achieved 1,271.

Friday 11th November - KD, AE, IC and AS crewed fly the ASK-21, ASW-19, and Ventus. Winds were light north westerlies  with approximately 2 octas cumulus with variable cloudbase from 6,000 ft to 8,000 ft.  Average 4 knot thermals. Sunday 6th November - LS, KD, SB, BT, AE, HM, MBd and AS crewed fly the IS-28, ASW-19, Pilatus, Astir and Ventus.  Thirteen flights for 7:59.

Saturday 5th November - KD, FF, SB, GL, BT, CC, AE, HM, MBn, MBd and AS crewed fly the IS-28, Astir, Twin Astir, ASW-19, ASW-20, Pilatus, LS-6  and Ventus.  Nineteen flights for 16:31.

Friday 4th November - KD, AE, and AS crewed fly the ASW-19 and Ventus.  Three flights for 1:45.

Tuesday 1st November - MBd, SB, KD, AE, BT, LS, ID and IC crewed fly the ASW-19, Astir, Pilatus, ASK-21 and IS-28.  Sunny conditions prevailed and there was 4 octas Cumulus with a cloud base at around 6,000 ft.  Surface winds were light north westerlies with very weak ridge lift.  Fifteen flights for 13:50.  Max altitude 6,000 ft.

Monday 31st October - FF, MBd, SB, KD, AE, MP, and IC crewed fly the DG-400, Pilatus, ASK-21 and IS-28.  Stable sunny conditions prevailed and there was 1 octas Cumulus along the ridges.  Surface winds were light north westerlies.  Nineteen flights for 5:00.  Max altitude 3,500 ft.

Sunday 30th October - LS, SB, BA, AE, MP, and SA crewed fly the DG-400, ASW-19 and IS-28.  Stable sunny conditions prevailed and there was 1 octas Cumulus along the ridges.  Surface winds were light north westerlies.  Ten flights for 1:47.  Max altitude 3,500 ft.

Saturday 29th October - MBd, BT, FF and IC crewed fly the ASW-19  and IS-28.  After low cloud and rain in the morning, there was 4 octas Cumulus.  Surface winds were light north westerlies with very weak ridge lift changing to south westerlies later.  Eight flights for 4:08. Max altitude 6,000 ft.

Thursday 27th October - MBd, AS and IC crewed fly the ASW-19, Libelle and Ventus.  There was 2 octas cumulus with a variable base up to 6,000 ft.  Surface winds were light north westerlies.  There were widely spaced thermals of 1m/s to 3m/s.  Three flights for 12:20.

Wednesday 26th October - AS and IC crewed fly the ASK-21 and Ventus.  There was 2 octas cumulus with a variable base up to 7,000 ft.  Surface winds were light north westerlies.  There were widely spaced thermals of 1m/s to 2m/s strengthening to 3m/s at higher levels.  Two flights for 6:06.

Sunday 23rd October - AS, KD, AE, LS, HM, BT, FF, CC, OB and MP crewed fly the IS-28, Astir, ASW-19, ASW-20 and Ventus.  Eleven flights for 16:44.

Tuesday 11th October - IC crewed fly the ASK-21.  There was extensive cloud cover with some cumulus with a variable base from 5,500 ft up to 6,400 ft.  Surface winds were light north westerlies giving weak ridge lift with westerly winds at higher levels.  There were widely spaced thermals under the overcast of around 7 octas cloud and occasional rain and snow at higher levels.  One flight for 3:00.  See www.onlinecontest.org/olc-2.0/gliding/flightinfo.html?dsId=2146814 .

Sunday 9th October - LS, KD and MBd crewed fly the IS-28.  Surface winds were light north westerlies. After early rain there was complete cloud cover at at around 5,000 ft.  Five flights. 

Saturday 8th October - Bendigo members, LS, GM, BT, MP, MBn, ID, OB, IC, KD and MBd crewed fly the PW6, ASW-19, Astir, Pilatus, IS-28, DG-400 and ASK-21.  Surface winds were light north westerlies. There was 4 octas cloud cover at around 5,800 ft.  29 flights for about 14:30. 

Friday 7th October -  GM, and MBd crewed fly the ASK-21.  Surface winds were light north westerlies. There was 4 octas cloud cover at around 5,800 ft.  1 flight for about 1:52.
